50 Fab Paper-Pieced Stars
#771
#772
Finished my first block! This is my first time paper-piecing. I enrolled in a Paper-Piecing Club at a LQS. We meet once a month. The first star we are doing is Delaware. Eventually I will somewhat keep pace with this group and will complete some of the stars in the right week as you guys. So far I am really liking this technique! Not bothered that it is slower paced, LOVE the way the block comes together.
Thank for the tip on using liquid stitch for missing points. On 3 blocks I had missing points on my #3 piece of fabric. I did figure out where I was going astray. A couple of them were probably just outside of 1/4 ", so I used the liquid stitch to put on a smidge of fabric. I think my picture might come out small; if so, will have to figure out how to get it bigger next time.
Love seeing all of the beautiful stars/variety of colors from everyone!!

SheriR, Too funny about your unique sewing method, but I'm so glad it got straightened out before you thought the rest of us were totally bananas for enjoying paper piecing.
Whinnytoo, Love your B&W&Y. It's going to be stricking.
DawnFurlong, Looks great! Can't wait till we get to Delaware. It's a pretty star.
