Moved trash can in my bathroom...disgusting dead bug haven, so had to haul vacuum to the rescue; went into guest room to make the single bed, disgusting dead bug haven under the head of the bed, so vacuumed that, and found more under the nightstand...vacuumed that. Men never move furniture to vacuum! Its got to be clean!!!
Thanks for all the kind words. And prayers.
Beautiful block, Honchey from GrannyQ. She told me she had made MBs ahead to be able to sent as time passes. She is in my nightly prayers, since she and her husband are fighting cancer.
And the latest chicken to cross the street:Isn't she sweet & adorable?

QuiltE I didnt know you were a Redhead! definitely a McSis
Yes! I have brothers too! some of my siblings are allergic to people, and some are allergic to cameras.... so 5 are missing from the photo. I KNOW thats ALOT of kids "what were they thinking?"
Good Guess NinaSue, the lovely Sis that you picked out is my next little sister, she is my bestest buddy, even when she makes me sew doll clothes for days!
Im the tallest at 5' 9" out of all the sibling except my oldest brother, he is taller by only an inch or so!

Oh Candice how far apart were you & your siblings? WOW! My DGDas had 9 siblings. His DM nursed 'em for 5 years as "birth control". The first few were 10 & 12 months apart. She had 2 set' o' twins. There is only one o' his siblings left.
They gave him a horse ta "give up his dinner."

Thanks for the correction D-D...fourth in from the right then at 5'9"...I am 5'8" so I know how hard it is to 'hide' in a crowd...almost impossible. It really looked like you all were enjoying yourselves and each other. Did not have any sisters at all; no granddaughters. Always envied my 13 cousins...that was the family size I loved...but unfortunately they are not all living today...do not know their offspring at all. Nor my brother's 'cause we never got an invite to their family gatherings..reason from him: we were not religious enough to suit him. And I would not make it up to Heaven, according to him. Failed the notice that he had become a God or God's right hand man.
So can I adopt that large sisterhood, too? My Aunt had red hair, and Gram always said I had her temperament! Wonder what she meant by that statement?????LOL!!!

DD...beautiful gathering of sisters! I was classmate to a girl that had 15 siblings. Always room for another one. I had 6 brothers...no sisters..if was 5th. When I was born, it was reported that my older brother's comments was, "Oh Boy. A dishwasher."
GrannyQ...what a beautiful Dresden plate for Honchey. Can't wait to see them all together
QNS...Your eyesight must still be pretty good to see the bugs. Rest well tonight and have a successful day tomorrow.
QuiltE...yup you did the rollover. I checked and we started this thread 11/20/2012. We are a chatty bunch.
Carrie...Nice you shared your PT suggestion. We can all benefit from that after too much quilting in one day.
Mirabelle...again such nice quilts. Now on to the Christmas quilt for DD?
Jeanie...was your kitchen ever worth waiting for or what!!!! I love it. My DH started redoing the kitchen 2 years ago and all I have is less counter top with gaps where he wanted to change it, no doors for under the sink, and multicolored drawer fronts! He doesn't trust anyone else to do a good job although he could easily afford to have someone do it...enough rant. That's why I spend so much time quilting I guess...I can create my own world of beauty.
Here is the picture of my MB from QuiltE along with the family of blocks. Then I finished the quilt for my DGS's friend that has been so encouraging to him. BTW...2 years later and they are still waiting for their injuries to be classified so far as disability is concerned so that they can be discharged.
