Well, I finished the block -- 15 hours! It is all machine appliqued. I decide to go thoroughly modern! Used gold metallic thread on the center of the flowers. Most of the rest was done in matching threads. If I knew how I would "quilt as you go"!
All the other pics are just gorgeous! Good work everyone -- and isn't this fun! Mine seems a little drab in comparison, but I like it. Can't wait for the 8th of March! Thanks for doing this!

For those of you who didn't know, I was partnered with Dream56 in a swap. She made me the most wonderful and gorgeous tote bag and we got to know each other. of course that means I get to bug her now that she's here too.
