Sylvia Bridal Sampler BOW
#183
I made the blocks for Sylvia's Bridal Sampler last year but have yet to completely put the top together. Life just gets in the way! LOL This quilt is great for learning new techniques. Stretched me! My advise would be to take your book to Office Depot or maybe Staples and have them put the spiral binding on it. Very inexpensive to do and such a big help. The book will then lay flat and is much easier to use.

I love looking at everyone's blocks..the different color combos are amazing! Hopefully I will soon figure out how to post mine in this thread! I have a new computer with windows 8 ...not having fun with it! I can get to the part where you pick URL or browse but it won't open the browse..I'll figure it out some day, or find a kid to show me how! In the mean time keep the pictures coming!

First Feb week
Another week! I need to learn to cut my pieces for paper piecing a bit more generously. I think as long as I leave the paper on until the sashing is on it will be ok. Did anyone else reverse applique the posies around the corner? Needle turn was way too bulky for such small pieces. Way too small for machine applique. I have had the book(and had it spiral bound) for several years. I'm glad to have the inspiration to get started. Thank you all!
