Bedbugs!
#1
Its finally happened.
One of the 4 buildings I work in found bedbugs in one of the rooms today.
They called the fumigator and he treated just that room! Is that crazy or what?
No wonder these pests are everywhere!
I'm going to lock my purse in my car from now on whenever I go in. Just the thought of them makes me itch.
Ick.

I have a friend who bought shirts at Goodwill and brought home bedbugs. She had taken the shirts directly to the washer and dumped them in with oxyclean and something else, hot water and hot dryer. She took them to her sewing room which is a sitting room off her bedroom. Within 2 weeks they were in every room in her house. She had them fumigated, not once but twice. She says she hasn't seen any so far but thinks they came from Savation Army clothes she bought for quilting.

I worked many years ago as an asst. apt. manager and our guys would do the same thing. Treat one apt for roaches and none of the others. They just turned into nomads, migrating from place to place.

There is hope! A CBC (Canadian) news feed said a Winnipeg inventor has started using heat to kill the bugs and eggs. Apperently he heats house/apartment and contents to 140 degrees and kills all in one treatment. No loss of household items, just the bugs. Sure hope that cure works! and spreads as fast as those little critters do!
