I am trying to be on the computer today looking at fabric and patterns and my cat is sitting on the mouse cord almost on top of the mouse. anyones cat do this too? She is always all over my fabric but this is getting ridiculous. I love her dearly but come on give me a break she used to sit on the monitor when we had one of the old model box types. she would swat at the mouse as it moved around the screen. it was a fun game to play unless we were trying to do something. how many of us have accidentally poked our animals with pins while quilting? I don't think I have yet.

I think she's trying to tell you something. ;-) She knows you have a quilt that needs finishing, and she has even tried to help you decide on which layout to use!! Evidently, she thinks you just aren't listening to her!

this cat here will get in my lap while I am on the computer and push my hands off the keyboard. When he wants to be patted and I stop he will put his mouth on hand- and I have to pat him somemore-never biting- its funny but I am afraid he will bite me one day. He gets in my way when I am trying to sew and when I lay any fabric or magazines down he lays on them and when I am hand piecing
he is even worse. He gets mad at me for moving him and then he will try to wrap around my neck. BUT gotta love them for they sure love us!

Aren't our furbabies precious? My cat seems to want my attention when I have my laptop on my lap as I'm typing. By the time I move it for her she's changed her mind, lol! The same goes for when I'm sewing, she decides she wants attention & doesn't just want to lay on her chair pad by the window at the end of the sewing table. I really get scared when she jumps up on the cutting table, YIKES, yes, I'm cutting at the time & she just plops down on the fabric. I don't know how many time I've almost got her tail. I've tried to shut the door, but this only makes it worse, she sets outside & meows, bangs the door
and scratches under the door. She has also learned how to open the door(lever handles) as long as the central air isn't running(too much pressure). You got to LOVE them, right??
