Downton Abbey.
I have just watched the Christmas Special - and very last Downton Abbey. So special - I shall really miss this wonderful programme and it will be worth watching when you get the programme in the States where I know how much it is liked.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Believe it or not, I have not watched a single episode, BUT I got a special edition blu-ray set of series 1-6 from my son for Christmas! Now I just need to put a tv in my sewing room and I will be set.

What a great gift! My friend just finished "binge-watching" it to catch up for this season. I love it and actually quite a few shows from the other side of the pond. Lewis, Call the Midwife, Sherlock, Foyles War.......

As we in the U.S. will get to watch Season 6 on January 3 I've been going thru all the seasons this week. Up to disc 3 on Season 4 with one more season to go. Have already pre-ordered Season 6.
It was here that I 1st heard about Downton Abbey either last year or the year before so thank you all for directing me to this wonderful series. And yes, I will miss it not continuing but understand the creator not wanting to go into Hitler's era. War is so terrible.
