Dying Childs Request for Guiness Book of World Records
I just found out about this today and wanted to share with everyone. (Hope its okay to post on here)
A 9 year old boy, Dalton Dingus has stage 4 Cystic Fibrosis. They are not giving this little guy long to live. He loves getting Christmas cards, and is trying to set the record for the most Christmas/Holiday cards received. No money or gifts just simply a card. He has collected alot but is still short of the amount needed.
You can find his page on facebook: Dalton's Destroyers- Cure CF

According to his face book page, he has already set the world record. Here is what was posted on face book.
"Dalton has 37,031 cards so far and all of them haven't even been counted yet!!! It's so amazing and I feel so blessed that so many people care. Thank you everyone. But let's keep spreading this so no one will touch his record!!!! ".

Elise1,
You are correct. I had read an earlier post that said he had 23,000 and still needed 12,000. Sorry about that.
However, I am still sending mine, and encouraging others to send theirs as well. The higher his record is the longer it will take for someone else to break. I am actually very relieved to know he met his goal, and got to see it happen. His cancer is in stage 4 and they sent him home to be comfortable This honestly just breaks my heart. We never know what each of us are going to face in life, and seeing things like this makes me believe there is still good in people.
It's the best 45 cents I've spent in a long time!!!
