I love hanging towels and in the past made TONS of them for
my family members.
Personally for my own kitchen I DON'T use them because I change
my kitchen towels sometimes up to 3-4 (maybe more) times a day
if I am in there cooking, for me it is a matter of I hate the thought
of cross contamination of the food I am preparing/cooking.
I have no idea where this "issue" started for me, but any towel or
dishcloth gets tossed to the laundry rather quickly (depending on what I am doing).

I think I might try it with one row of bias tape, ribbon or fabric strip, with ribbon ran through it at one end. Then all I have to do is flip it over the oven door and gather it a little then tie in a bow.
