Wish I could afford one.
Dont know which has the largest but be sure to check out pattern availability.
I would love to have one so I could quilt blocks with it. Get that professional look without sending to a long armer.
Those machines are so expensive you could buy a long arm setup for the cost of one.

Vikings latest machine has a really large hoop and it cost alot more; that's the Diamond. I have the Ruby and there is only one hoop that the Diamond has that the Ruby doesn't. Ruby has some large hoops, it comes with one that is 14 x 9 (I think) it's 200 x 360 if you know the conversion to inches. It also has an 8 x 8 hoop and two difference endless hoops which are really great. The Ruby is also a lot cheaper than the Diamond and has so many features that it makes a good choice. Go to Vikings web site and you can compare the machines that they have to each other to see if this works for you. I'm sure most machines have the similar thing on their site. I just know the ruby and it is so worth it. I do think you are going about it the right way if you are looking to get one. I wanted the one with the largest hoop and easy to learn. Mine does it all and I get free classes every month.

After owning an embroidery/sewing machine combo, high end machine, I think the better way to go is to purchase a separate embroidery only machine and separate sewing machine. The one I am looking at is the Brother Pro 1000e and I think it may have a large enough hoop:

Largest hoop on embroidery machine
There may be larger than this one but I was over helping my neighbour on an issue w/a design she was working on. Her Babylock Had a huge snap on hoop that I wish I had. Mine goes to 5x7 on my Brother. I think it was an Ellisimo but she had an older model. If you know how to work w/Brother the Babylocks are made by same company.

I have the Brother 4000D which has a huge hoop. I have never needed anything bigger. It has a 12 x 7 embroidery area. There is also a way to expand your embroidery area beyond your given area. I forgot what they call it, but it attaches to your embroidery unit and fools your machine. Babylock or Brother are both USA made. They are well built and stand up to the job. I also own a Viking Husqvarna and would prefer my Brother everytime. Viking Husqvarna along with several others that were made in countries other then China are now being made China. Also, one thing to watch is if they have revised a model a couple of times. This means they have been having trouble with the original. I have a Brother 4000D and a Babylock Crown Jewel. Love them both! They are dependable and the tech support is fantastic.
