Extreme Home Makeover tonight....
I am watching Extreme Home Makeover Christmas Edition for Wounded Warriors. they are doing an awesome job for MANY wounded soldiers. i know i don't always express enough thanks to those who are serving and who have served in our armed forces to protect our freedoms such as this quilt board.
To all of those who read this that have served, are serving, or have a family member who have,
I THANK YOU!
To those who became a wounded solder... you are in a special place in my heart.....

My daughter is a critical care nurse who spent five years in the Army and worked at Walter Reed. She saw the soldiers within 48 hours of their injuries, depending upon flight times. She's out of the service now working as a civilian. She said she misses working with the soldiers because they were so determined and so appreciative of the nurses. They also felt guilty that they left the other soldiers behind.
