Flannel Nightgowns
#1
OK, I will admit it, I wear flannel nightgowns, but, I wear them after I get up on a cold fall or winter day. I don't like wearing a robe, so I will wear a heavy flannel nightgown. I love curling up with it on and reading a book or enjoying a cup of morning coffee.
Since fall weather is in the air for us already, does anyone know of a good place to get heavy weight flannel night gowns, the kind that are long enough and go to the floor. I had a sale flyer from someplace in the heat of summer, that showed them and I didn't keep it. (didn't need them then!)

I love the Lanz nitegowns at the VT country store. Too expensive now. I made 2 long (to the floor) flannel nitegowns last winter. Even in SC I wear flannel inthe winter - in the evening, love to sit at nite and have tea or cocoa, read.
I have a pattern I've used since way back in the late 60s - even hubs 1 wore a flannel nightshirt in the WNY winter nites. (looks like a nitegown to me lol - but it has a shirt collar and is cut down the front all the way and buttons like a shirt with a curved shirt tail hem.) I use this pattern now. Very comfortable, very very cozy. sharet

I used to have a bunch of them, then I went through the change and I was so warm all the time I got rid of all my sweaters and flannel night gowns. I sure wish I hadn't done that. Now I want them back! I too hate to wear a robe and love to read in a night gown.
