A big hug to those of you who have lost your own mother, or perhaps one of your children, and are having a tough time on this day. You are not alone or forgotten.

I had a nice day. I put a rose on my mother in law's grave, one on my mother's grave and one on my husband's grave (only because I bring him a rose every time I go to Fort Snelling National Cemetery here in St. Paul/Minneapolis. Then my sister in law, brother in law and I went and put flowers on other graves. I got home dead tired and found my grandson, granddaughter, and son with a fancy bag full of different kinds of suet cakes and a suet feeder. That is going to be great this winter because I am going to hang out the suet feeders on shepherd's crooks on the lawn in front of the window where I sew and I will be able to enjoy the birds. I have three suet feeders, so it'll be a veritable Burger King for all of them.
And I had a Hummingbird at my brand new feeder yesterday. How exciting is that? Now I have to get my cannas in the ground and get them a'growin'!
A day late Happy Mother's Day to you and God Bless Us Everyone!!!!!! Edie
