My Christmas goes up about mid December remains in place until January 6. It’s how I was brought up.
Our children’s church Christmas program was always December 27 because we were taught “Christmas begins at Christmas” and we bask in it.
Yesterday I saw a discarded undercoated tree laying in a snow bank outside so not everyone celebrates like me.
Happy New Year everyone. My hopes are high for a wonderful 2022 !

I had a good last year so expecting this year to be amazing. I always expect amazing! LOL Looking forward to going to AQS show in Branson, two guild retreats, and back to Missouri Star for a couple of days, planting a bigger garden, enjoying the grandkids, and to learn a new skill. . Last year I started doing watercolor paintings. I'm not very good but it sure is fun. I wish everyone a safe and a new year full of anticipation.

A slightly delayed Happy New Year! First time in quite a few years that my husband and I have actually made it till midnight😄😄😄. Just hoping that 2022 might be a good one - I’m pretty tired of wearing masks - had to wear them almost always here in COLORADO but rarely in North Carolina except for medical appointments,

I’ll be going to the “Lancaster (PA) show in March!!! It’s a free show that used to be in the Continental Hotel on Rt. 30 till several years ago, then moved to the Doubletree a reasonable few miles away till Covid. I can’t wait to finally get to a big show. Just wish that AQS had a show in Lancaster or even Charleston, SC. They are to far away for me to drive, but I will get back to Paducah one of these years, I haven’t been there in quite a few years.
