Haven't been doing much quilting, I've been painting lately!

Since I was cut back to 4 days at work, I started painting ceramic tile/trivets. I actually got so many orders for them (thanks for starting that ball rolling SewJoyce!!!), that it kept me busy until Christmas!
Anyway, I thought maybe you'd like to see some of what I've done.

This one I sold on etsy!

These are just beautiful...Just an idea, don't know if it's do-able, but when Christmas shopping at one of our mammoth hardware/home stores I saw some tiles (not as good as yours) which were able to be hung on patios/walls outside in entertaining areas. In warm climates like ours (Aus.) we live outside in summer and wall art is really
"in"...maybe among some of your southern dwellers could be a market for your work. Anyway, glad you got lots of orders.

I just love them Sue -- the 2 I kept for myself (the Christmas one and the patriotic one) are both hanging in my sewing room. The dog one that you made I gave to my girlfriend for her birthday and she was just in love with it!
And even though the pictures are great -- they really don't do them justice :D :D
