Help with measurements ?

i usually do mine about 104x104 but it all depends on how much you need it to over hang and if you want it to tuck under the pillows or not.
you can enter measurements here to get answers

A King sized mattress is 76 x 80 (w x l). If you want a 10 inch drop, then make it 96 x 90. (Adds 10 inches to each side and 10 inches at the foot. If you want a 10 inch tuck under the pillows, make it 96 x 100 (Adds 10 inches to each side and 10 inches at the foot plus up to 10 inches to tuck under the pillows.) Other sizes of drop and tuck (sounds like fire prevention, doesn't it?) can be computed in the same way. the 104 x 104 mentioned above gives you a king with 14 inch drop and 10 inch tuck. God bless you, I've never had the courage to take on such a big quilt!

There's no standard sizes .... as mentioned, you need to consider what you want/need for drop, tuck of the pillows and if by chance you're tucking in at the bottom.
Interesting that NativeTexan suggested 104"x104" .... My quilts for my double bed are all 100" to 110" square. Yes, I use mine as both a sleeping quilt and a bedspread!

it also depends on the height of the mattress. some today can be as much as 13". I made a king-sized quilt, about 110x110 and my DH wishes it were a tad longer on the sides to completely cover the mattress.

shoot, i stand corrected. maybe it's more than 104". I haven't made a king size in awhile. i have three waiting to be done in sections then pieced into king size. i've forgotten how large it will end up.

People often refer to 100" as being King ... I just give my measurements to remind them that their King goes on my bed. Remember, I use mine as a bedspread, so I do have a good drop on it, with tuck in at the foot (antique bed with head and footboard), plus i like to tuck in around the pillows.
