I done what I said I wasn't going to do.

I've got to get off here, several days are piling up all at once. DD decided at the last minute to participate in a group at our church called Gloves Of Glory--where the young people dress totally in black other than white gloves and perform in front of black lights. With no lights in the church and the windows covered it's a pretty awesome sight. They sign (elaborate and flowing sign language) to music and it looks like a hand ballet. Plus I have three couch throws to finish (one by Monday), a costume to make for Sunday evening, cookies to bake for Sunday evening and Monday morning, a black outfit for DD's debut performance on Wednesday evening, DD has parties Sat. and Tues., a live nativity to go to tonight then shopping, stuffing 16 goodie bags for school on Tuesday and I keep thinking I've forgotten something....... After next Wednesday evening it should all level out so that I can make cheeseballs for all the neighbors for Christmas. Is anyone else feeling the pressure???

The last couple years like yours made me realize that I was missing out on the meaning of the season and becoming the biggest GRINGE known to man so we scaled back tremendously and I feel so much better and everyone around me really appreciates it! I'd love to be superwoman but it's just not happening.
