Miranda shingles is no fun got it two weeks before my daughters wedding. If you keep taking the Acylovir it will help decrease the time it lasts and the nerve pain. Hang in there and I will be thinking about you.

The rash disappeared. I guess all the meds I was on dried it up. It still itched, but that has also stopped. Some days the pain is worse in my neck and shoulder and arm than it was the day before. YEsterday was the best day so far. I could almost turn my head to the left like normal. Today is a different story. It's all stiff and sore in my neck again. Maybe I slept on it wrong. This pain is tolerable, and I'm thankful it isn't like it was to begin with. I think I'm going to get better.
I received a wonderful care package in the mail. It cheered me up tremendously! Thank you, Chele!
Thanks to all of you who have helped me through this. You've helped keep me sane!

Goodies from Chele. Card, mask, booklet with quilty post cards, and CALAMINE LOTION! I needed that. She sent it as the itching was getting worse! THANKS!

Glad you are better. :D Hope it is not as hot & humid where you are. It was OK this morning but about 1:30 pm, no breeze at all. It was unbearable. That's one thing about East Texas, you can freeze in the morning & burn up in the afternoon. Are you immune to it now & can you get a relapse. Gosh, I hope not. If you get the shot will that help now & later?
