I keep thinking I'm going to open the door and find the kitties melted on the front porch. Well, it IS in the shade all day and is concrete, so maybe not, but I can tell even they are just DONE with this unusual heat.

I know how that is!!!
You know how they play music to announce their arrival in the neighborhood? When we lived in Rowlett, Texas about 15 years ago. I gave the ice cream man and his wife a recording of Van Halen's song " I am the Ice Cream man". They played it every time they came into our neighborhood.
