I've been wearing duck boots for 30 years. Great for working in the garden. Mine are about shot and I can't find them anywhere. I wear the ones with 5 eyelets. No insulation.
Although I do wear them in the winter, the insulation would be too hot to wear gardening.
I've searched on the internet for all the stores I can think of.
I have found the loafers, and the tall ones.
Any other gardeners here wear duck boots?
Duck boots have a waterproof foot with a leather top.
Thanks. :D

As a gardner, I just had to Google to see what duck boots are. Certainly are pricey at L.L. Bean. I see Kohl's has a cheaper $26.99 version. I get cheap clog type shoes at K-mart as I'm always getting into the mud & just got a pair of thigh high flower print vinyl boots for $14.00 at Target.
At Kohl's for $26.99

Thanks Donna Jean,
I searched Kohls and didn't come across any.(?)
I'll check again.
I can't wear the regular rubber boots my feet sweat too bad.
When it gets realllllyyyy hot I do switch to sneakers.
I searched Kohls website, they only carry the winter insualted boot, not the 'real' duck boot.

Our local Tractor Supply store has boots but they call them "mucking out" boots. They have thick soles and are a heavy rubber and canvas. I wear mine all year round when it's snowy or muddy. If you don't have a Tractor Supply chain store in your area, try some of the farm supply stores. Good luck.

Couldn't get a picture, sorry.
Search L.L. Bean website, search 'womans duck boot'.
Its item # CX175062, about half way down the page.
(6 inch boot)
They are expensive $80.00, but they last forever.
Great for gardening in the spring/summer and also in the winter.
