Machine embroidery stabilizer question
I want to do some machine embroidery on some dish towels (not terry) and am wondering what stabilizer to use. The designs I'm going to use this time are redwork outline type designs. I'm thinking a light-weight cutaway which I would have to purchase. Would that be the correct stabilizer? Also, can it be purchased at Joanns (if so, can you name the product) or do I need to go to my Quality Sewing store? Their prices are high, and I can't get a small amount. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you!

go to this website and they have a download stabilizer guide that should help; it of course mentions thier brand but it's the type that counts; water sol, tear away, etc. I do like thier stabilizer and do buy it but also buy the WS at JoAnns and Hancocks on the bolt. I like the one of the bold when using my larger hoops. Embroidery library also has some tutorials on it under projects and kennys corner. Your machine would problably have some like Viking does. The link I'm giving you is for Floriani and it has never steared me wrong.
