Miniatures - Easy Patterns & Ideas
Can anyone recommend a web site, book or magazine on miniature wall hangings, quilts or other items that I might use to starting learning to make miniatures? i think I would like to try these! I would appreciate any suggestions.

Can't recommend them but their patterns are supposed to be free. http://www.allcrafts.net/quilting/mini-quilts.htm

I just did a Google search and came up with these selections:
https://www.google.com/search?q=Free...utf-8&oe=utf-8
There was an older episode of F&P and their guest speaker just made blcoks a little larger than after pressing them, she trim them down. She also mentioned to slow down to achieve accuracy. There is also a monthly "Quilters Magazine "Bitty Blocks"". You might want to sign up for the thread:

I love doing minis. Ask friends to save their scraps. You will be suprised at how small a piece ypu can use. Several friends save ehat would otherwise be thrown out for me and then they are amazed at what I do with them.

I use the book "501 Quilt Blocks " by Better Homes and Gardens. I got mine 2nd hand from Amazon. Think I paid like $5.00. It has every imaginable quilt block in 4" size you can ever want. I have used it a lot.
Good luck!

The 501 quilt blocks by Better Homes and Gardens has all 4" patterns of everything imaginable. I use it all of the time. Lots of visual helps also.
