If I had the skills I wouldn't mind moving there. I am open to the entire country right now. I am a pharmaceutical scientist and with the large mergers taking place the pharmaceutical world is getting very complicated and hard to find jobs. The company I worked for was merged with a larger one in October and in November announced closing many sites. When they are done rebuilding the company 15,000 people will be unemployed. I need to change my career. I have applied to several jobs as a research scientist but nothing yet. My favorite job ever was as a lab technician in an In Vitro Fertilization lab. I loved meeting the patients and see their joy when the cycles were succesful. I had one patient name her baby after me because I prepared the sample for the process. I wouldn't mind going back to that.
Thanks for the link.

Hi Maride,
That is terrible about your job. I know the feeling hubby worked in an automotive plant and they closed all locations in Indiana and Michigan. He has been unemployed since July 2009.
