Oh my goodness, the d'anjou pear tree is producing. Not as heavy as in the past, but plenty for 2 people.
I am canning this weekend. Plain pears in syrup, and a few brandied.
Pear Crisp, pear cake and baked pears.
I have spiced pear butter on the shelves.
Taking a bushel to family out of state Sunday.
Anyone have a suggestion for other pear recipies?
