Question on napkins?

Question on napkins?
Hi I am making some table runners and napkins for some of my family members.
my question, could I use a mixed blend of fabric for the napkins such as polyester/cotton mix... I have some of this fabric and would like to use it up, do you think it would work for napkins?

YES it would would just fine. I have used a poly/cotton blend
MANY times to make napkins, place mats, and table runners.
The main reason I chose to use that fabric was because it washed
beautifully, and didn't wrinkle.

I find the poly/cotton blend perfect for napkins. I buy them 6 dozen at a time. I used to get 100% cotton ones, but today's gals really don't have time to do the ironing that they require. I avoid the 100% polyester ones because they don't absorb liquids very readily. Some of them are really beautiful, but you need some cotton to absorb liquid. I also don't use fabric softener when I wash napkins. The softeners can also reduce the absorbancy of the fabric.
