Quilters Club of America

I was a member for a couple of years. I lived close to a Joann's so used the discount card and the coupons to get 50% off an item that was not on sale. Now that I live more than 100 miles from a Joann's the discount is useless because you can only use it in the store so I did not renew. I did find several free quilt patterns to download that made it worthwhile as well as getting the magazine for free. I rarely used the video features but they are a good source of information also. If you divide the membership cost by the number of months in a year it is a good value for someone who takes advantage of ALL it has to offer.

What do you like?
What don't you like?
I'm really torn and having a tough time deciding.
Thanks

I'm glad someone started this one as well because I was thinking about it along with the Pams which I think is based in Australia. My LQS they have 15% off fabrics and a frequent buyer card that afer it's full you can use it to take $25 off anything in the store. I find there's lots of sites out there that have free pattern downloads so I go to those quite a bit and then whatever info and material I find on this board.

I joined the first year, and didn't renew. There are so many free you tubes, free shows, free patterns on the net that I seldom found anything there that wasn't already available for free. :D:D:D

I only buy notions at Joanne's - but I DO buy notions at Joanne's, and I place occasional orders with Keepsake. I'll have to look at the benefits again next year before I renew.
I really do like the magazine. I buy quilting mag's not for patterns, but for new techniques and inspiration. So AQS and Quilting Arts are my two fav's.
