So, do I forgive him?
My husband told me tonight that this morning when he was getting ready for work, his electric beard trimmer quit right in the middle of his beard, and he had half his beard short and half long. He said he looked all over the house for scissors and all he could find...you guessed it...was my good sewing scissors. So do I forgive him? Or should I have expected him to go to work with a half-shorn face?

Go buy the same scissors for the house you have for your sewing and never worry about your scissors being looked for again. That's what I did and no one ever looks for the good scissors, they are all good.

Give him a pass.
Now as to scissors: we have many in every place in the house (the harbor freight kind), so my sewing scissors are off limits. I buy them by the dozen. DH knows when dull-throw them out and we'll get more, but DON'T USE MY SEWING SCISSORS.
