If you have a clay flower pot with a hole in the bottom (for drainage) flip it upside down ( hole at the top)on a small stove burner and it will radiate heat like a pot belly stove. We did a lot of camping years ago, and that kept us warm many times. Works gas or electric, just keep the burner on low. Stay warm!

We are not that cold here but is sure is frosty and snowing. It's a good day to stay by the fireplace and do some handwork. My 3 goldens love it when the fire is glowing, they lay near and stay nice and toasty.

It is 13 degrees here, much colder than it has been. Glad we aren't as cold as you are. We keep our house at 72-73 and have a wood burning stove to help heat livving, dining and kitchen. I have a cockatiel and have to keep her warm.

yes, ver-r-r-ry cold. i was up later last night and didn't feel the furnace come on. i thought it died. i was heartbroken to think i'd have to deal with it. laughs on me though. i forgot that i set the nighttime temp to 65. i'm not usually awake at that hour to experience it. LOL

It is a crisp 5* here today and not nearly as cold as where you are, brrrrrrrr! I have the fireplace going and we have about an inch of snow so I am staying in to sew today. I have found that a fleece vest or jacket are the warmest in the winter.
