    1. My morning greeting of my dog (15 lbs) bouncing on the bed, trying to catch my hand under the blanket. Lol.
    2. DH waking me with hot coffee with a touch of honey every morning.
    3. My daughter coming to do her laundry, I hope she never gets her own machine so she continues to come visit and spend a day with us.
    4. Having enough fabric to make whatever catches my fancy.
    5. My new serger.
    6. My elderly cat.
    7. Not having to drive ever again.
    8. Coming here to enjoy the comradery, information, and pleasant conversation.

A Dandelion bouquet from a child

Pebbles gifted to me by various children and grand children after a fun day of play. The pebbles are the fruits of their labor.

A phone call from someone who loves me like I love them.

    -holding my grandtwins
-looking at pictures of them when I can't be there
-finding $5 or more in a winter coat pocket when I pull it out after the off-seasons
    -the smell of clean laundry
-any time someone else fixes a meal for me (us)
    -baby laughs
-bumping into a friend (as long as I know I look decent) in public
-when my hubby tries not to smile when I flirt with him but his eyes give him away
-the dog bringing a sock or slipper to the front door when the person he has missed the most comes home
(last night it was my slipper; I'd been out of town for 5 days)
    - the first sip of coffee in the morning
    - climbing into bed at night, especially with fresh, clean sheets after a hot bath
    - seeing my son after school and listening to how his day went
    - snail mail and surprise gifts
    - a funny card
-a bouquet of flowers just because

Another couple, if you don't mind:
The first hummingbird I see at my window every spring.
    Watching my dog dream.
    The smell of bacon frying.

Hearing your daughter's recent scan still shows 'Cancer Free'.
Sitting on the porch with your grand daughter, when all is quiet and then a bird chirps, startling her into laughter.
A walk in the woods, the smell of fresh cut grass, quiet times....

Another one for me is the first sounds of lawnmowers in the Spring. I just love that sound!

Yeah! Most of the time, I grumble when I see a sack of them, but you are so right. Thanks for the reminder!
