Victorian Batting Dolls
I have managed to make some more batting dolls over the past year. Every once in a while I have a get together with a friend and we sit and make Batting dolls. They are very time consuming as they are made entirely by hand and hand stitched. I am quite hooked on them and feel I have improved on the original ones that I first made. They are the two in the picture with father Christmas. He is the most recently made one and I am very happy with him. I feel the first two a little on the anorexic side, I now pad them a little more and I am much happier with the finished result. I hope to get a couple more made before the year is ended. We mostly only get one finished and maybe another started during the few hours we get together to make them.

I now what you mean about the bucket list getting longer and we are getting older. I try to make every minute count, I don't sleep a lot as I figure one day I am going to have a very long sleep, and I don't need to spent ,my time here sleeping it away.
