We might get to be in a USPS ad!
Today we received a totally unexpected phone call. It was from an advertising agency that will be putting together an ad campaign the USPS Regional Rate boxes. They're looking for small businesses to do a photo shoot in (this will be a print ad) and somehow they came up with our name and number.
They will be choosing from who-knows-how-many other businesses, but even so, it gave us something fun to talk about this afternoon!
Gee... if they pick us ... do you think we'll get to meet Mr. "If it fits, it ships!" ?

Just e-mailed our story to the ad agency... plus some pictures of the staff (as they requested). I figure we saved enough last year by using the USPS Regional Rate boxes, that we were able to grow our batik selection by over 100 bolts. Now, quilters might be impressed with that, though I don't know if the ad agency will!
But don't these pre-cuts look oh so cute in the Regional Rate A box? I figured the ad agency might like a little bit of color... well, we'll know pretty soon if we get chosen, because they want to do the shoot in the next couple of weeks.
And yes, I found out that Mr If-it-fits-it-ships will indeed be at the shoot! How very cool (for someone!)
