My friend wants chocolate cake for her wedding cake. We want to test different recipes for the cake and are also looking for a chocolate cake recipe from Cake Boss. We are unable to get the book since we are making the cake and flowers for my friends wedding (it's our wedding gift to her) any good recipes out there?

I know we are doing this look (but three instead of however many are there) with red roses, white fondant, and black scrolling.

What is the time frame for having the cake done?
(one day before wedding, two days before wedding, one week before wedding , take it out of the oven while the ceremony is being performed?)
That would make a difference as to what cakes and frostings (fondant or whatever) would work out well.
