When a pet dies...
#1
We just found out that our next door neighbor’s pug dog died two weeks ago. Bob (the dog) was so awesome. He loved me and I loved him. Is there something that I can get for her to help her with her grief? I do want to do something. Her son who is my age has a condition that makes his brain like swiss cheese. He is aging so quickly and will die in the near future as well. So much sadness for our neighbor. Any advice would be soo helpful.

Why not make a donation to an organization that you think is close to her heart. Maybe a dog rescue or something medical related to her son. Maybe "make a wish." Include the info in a card. There are greeting cards for loss of a pet.
Gift card to cover dinner. When dealing with a loss, sometimes something as simple as making dinner is overwhelming.

Everyone has wonderful suggestions. I’ve received cards and a plant when we’ve lost pets in the past. A dear friend who loved one of our dogs that passed came over and we talked about her and cried together - this was very comforting.

we have ordered memorial stones for our gardens from www.LTDCommodities.com they have some that are shaped like a dog, a cat and a paw and have a window that you can insert a picture...I think they were only $7.95
...you can also get kits from Hobby Lobby that you can make garden stones for about $12
