Windows 10 ???
I have windows 10 and since it was installed when I use my printer I get a message (bottom right side of screen) saying printer cannot comminucate. Eventually it will print very very slowly. Any ideas.

You probably have to update the driver for the printer. Windows 10 made a lot of changes to the system, and there was a warning that some peripherals might need to be updated. Check with the printers web site it should instruct you what to do.

I installed Windows 10 on my desktop that has a wifi HP all-in-one printer. Have uninstalled and installed the printer a couple of times as I can never seem to be able to use the scanner portion of it. I also downloaded and installed their "Doc" app so when I have this issue I just go into it and let it supposedly fix the problem and then I can scan. Problem is I have to continually go into this app to have it correct the problem before I can scan. Just a pain in the a@@ to me. From time to time I also will receive this little pop=up screen telling me I'm no longer connected to the wifi for whatever reason but the next time I go to print I have no issues. Think Microsoft needs to do some tweaking still. Have yet to upgrade my laptop with Windows 10 for this very reason.

I was visiting family for the past few weeks and when their children were on the Windows 10 computer, it seemed to pop up with that message "no longer connected to the wifi or whatever".......many times...many times. Wonder if that's their "standard message" when something is glitching up!

Sadly many printers will not have a updated driver that will allow your printer to work with Windows 10. They all want you to buy a new one. I had this happen when I upgraded from Windows XP to Windows 7. I had to buy new printers/scanners, because the companies refuse to put out new drivers, so they can force you to buy a new printer/etc. It's all a money game. For now I am staying with Windows 7, as I have an expensive embroidery program & other programs that may not work. Some of them I know will not work. I would guess that any program or accessory that was not made to go past Windows 7 may not work or will have major issues on Windows 10.
You can try to go to your printers home page & see if they have an updated driver.

I still have older machines, unfortunately I upgraded my laptop then found out that the remote login function was not available with the free upgrade, but if I pay for it I will be able to use it again. I am not upgrading any of my other computers at work, we use too many older programs that will not work with 10. Unfortunately we did have to upgrade one of our computers from XP to 7 since our accounting software update would no longer work with XP. Why can't they leave things alone. XP was a good system! Yes I know it's all about the bottom dollar, they want ours.
