Amanda from NM
Hello,
As my name says from NM. I am new to quilting (since 2016) when I was gifted a new sewing machine (from my parents) for my dream of quilting. I have made 9 quilts so am still very new since the count does not go over my ten fingers. I joined the Quilting Board Forum recently because I found myself 'stalking' to see what others were doing or writing about. I am ready to join in the conversation, learn from others, and encourage them in their endeavors. Thank you all for sharing your thoughts and ideas and believing that this grandmother of 7 babies and preschoolers can learn a new skill. My desire is to piece and quilt my own quilts so maybe someday I'll get a HQ Sweet 16 as my next progression. FMQ with a sit down or long arm, hmmm which one? For now learning on my domestic machine.
I joined LQS for 'Gypsy Wife" by Jen Kingman. I think this may be a little too challenging for me. I'm jumping in and hoping the water is fine. God bless you
