Hi, I'm really excited to have found a quilt group that has so many interesting idea. I'm newly retired and have always quilted, but just recently I've got a new hobby of woodturning and my interest in that is making sewing notions. I work in my turning studio when its alot cooler and the weather lately has been in the 100's. So I spend alot of time quilting and making greeting cards with a fabric touch. I do alot of local quilt shows and I teach quilting at our local quilt shop.
I am also a member of a quilt group that meets at my home every Thursday morning called the busy bees. We like doing alot of charity quilts and solving the worlds problems. And most important eat lunch.

I retired in May 2010 and it's the best decision yet. I don't do a lot of quilting but it's more than before. I am part time nanny to my grandson a few days a week so that has kept me busy. This board is awesome. Gives me ideas and something to look forward to every day.
