I'm Kathy Patterson. My husband, Keith and I live in Fort Worth, Texas with two adorable Airedales, Ruby Darlin' and Sam, and one old cat named Maggie.
I started quilting about six years ago and I am still the 'Weakest Link'. I quilt strictly for pleasure. If it becomes a chore, than I will stop. I have all the quilts that I will ever use. I have given away about 30 quilts. I make and donate quilts for Airedale Rescue to raffle for fundraising. I will post two pictures of the most recent quilts that I did for Rescue.
GrammaNan has challenged us lurkers out in the open, so here I am. Thank you GrammaNan, I was already spending way too much time reading in digest form and now I can just bring my pillow to the computer and sleep here:)
I so love seeing all the wonderful quilts (and purses) on this forum. Because of the things I see and read about on this forum, I have less money and a million more ideas running around in my head. All it takes for me is for someone to mention a neat product or item and I'm out of here and at the store purchasing.
Glad to be part of this wonderful group.

They are Airedales. In that photo, they are in need of a haircut, but I like them that way. Since they are not show dogs, they are not groomed as often as some Airedales are - for that they are thankful.
