Hello all.
I'm very new to quilting, so I'm creeping in. I've finished one very basic quilt (almost!), and threw together a school house block, but haven't done anything with it. I've always loved looking at quilts, but was scared to try. I never thought I could.
I'm pleased to have found this forum - do you have members from anywhere other than the US?
I'm planning on some sort of house quilt next, building up the block I've done - have you a thread somewhere on house quilts?
It's lovely to find a dedicated quilting forum.

We are from all over the world. There are some here from France, Australia, New Zealand, England, Iceland, just to name the ones I've seen. I believe there about 12,000 registered here. (Someone correct me if I'm wrong!)
I'm from Iowa, welcome! :-D There is a wealth of information in all these minds.

Thank you for a lovely hello. :)
I've lurked a little, but not yet seen any locations other than the US, so that's good to hear you have members from all over. I've only ever been on one forum, and that's fairly small, so I thought it was time I branched out. It's a bit scary coming onto such a big forum. :D
