Hello from Los Angeles!
Hi! I'm Kendall, a Los Angeles native and modern quilter.
I learned to sew when I was quite young and always sort of dabbled, made my own clothes for a while, but really quilting is my thing. I'd been sewing on a brother se400, but I burnt out the feed motor (of course I did...), so now I'm working on my grandmother's 1956 Singer 900k while I try to save up for a machine better suited for quilting (looking at the Brother Innovis NQ1300).
I recently joined a guild and I've been trying to make myself more a part of the fantastic online quilt community, and generally take quilting more seriously.
The thing I most like about sewing is that quilt tops are like these giant fabric puzzles! I'm especially fond of foundation paper piecing.
I can't wait to meet you all!

Welcome from Oklahoma! You will enjoy being on the board. I have learned many new things from these Ladies and Gents. I spend time on the main thread, pictures, monthly blocks , and of course the swaps. Welcome aboard....
