Hello from Western NC

Hi Everyone.
I have looked at this board a few times over the past several months, and it seems addictive. What a nice friendly bunch of people! I hope I can get to know some of you.
I would like to introduce myself. I live in the mountains of NC. I have been quilting for about seven years. I also love to garden. I seem to accumulate a whole bunch of quilt tops because piecing the tops is where the fun is. I will get them quilted sometime. I have been working on quilting a queen size quilt for the past nine months and I am only about three quarters done. During this same time period, though, I have pieced another four tops. : )

Hello and welcome from the opposite side of your state! I'm from eastern NC. More recently we are starting to think we are the snow capital. 6 snow events since Christmas. I believe that's a record for the coast. Happy quilting.

Hello and Welcome from the beaches of NC! I graduated from Appalachian State, have a daughter graduating there in May and my family lives in Hickory. I love the mountains- we have a place in Blowing Rock too :) We retired at the beach from the Marine Corps so we get the best of both worlds :)
