I am flabbergasted at the huge amounts of knowledge in these boards!!!
I've been quilting for about 10 yrs in a summer quilting group when i'm not teaching. This past summer I finally got around to finishing a quilt for my 80 yr old aunt that she made when she & my uncle married in 1949.
Got smart and moved my quilt frame into my office where i can quilt, watch TV, & hang on the 'puter all at the same time!!
I am a traditionalist and hand quilter. This is my current project - the same aunt made the top, I added the border so that she can put it on her bed.

Awesome quilt. It looks like a life long endeavor. I need my small accomplishments to keep from quitting, so I don't start big projects. BUT I am going to attempt something with this pattern. It is so beautiful and reminds me of my grandma's bed. How great for you to share.
Blessings,
Ruth
