Newbie to the forum
Hello everyone my name is Bernice and I live in Orange County NY! I would like to introduce myself to this wonderful forum which I stumbled upon only 2 days ago. I have been reading all sorts of post and I have to say I am so thrilled to have found the Quilting Board. Everyone seems so fun and caring and I am looking forward to getting to know many of you and learning as much as I can from the seasoned quilters. I have been quilting for about 7 years now and I have been madly in love since. I finally have my own sewing studio which I acquired a year ago and I am in my glory when I have the chance to go to my room to sew and create! I love paper crafting too! I also have an online store where I sell fabrics, notions, and patterns. Eventually I will sell quilts and other goodies that I will make. It has been a slow process adding fabrics and such but so far so good. If you have a chance check it out at www.quiltnstitchny.com. Any feedback, suggestions or constructive criticism would be greatly appreciated. My dream is to have a quilt shop one day. I am also preparing for my first ever Christmas Craft Show this December so I have a whole list of things I want to make to sell. Problem is I don't know how much stuff I should make. Has anyone sold items in a craft show before? How do you determine how much of one item to make? Help.... ) In the meantime I look forward to sharing stories, ideas, help and just everyday conversation with fellow quilters. I just joined the August secret pal swap so I am extremely excited about that. Happy quilting everyone!!

Greetings and welcome from New Hampshire
In my limited experience - smaller items seem to sell best.
Pot holders, placemats with matching napkins, pincushions, pillowcases: particularly for children, set (2) if making adult pillowcases.
