Hey there everybody. I enjoyed reading all of your hello posts.
Like Kathie, I too live in NorCal. I'm really from Kansas City but I'm in the Air Force and am stationed way out here near San Francisco.
I just started quilting a little over a year ago and new that it was the craft for me. I take my sewing machine on TDY's (tours) with me. The boys I work with laugh but I've made 7 quilts already while they just sit around late at night and watch movies! I'm hoping my mom will buy me EQ6 for Christmas so I can get crazy with the patterns!
I look forward to hearing more about you and your projects. ;-)
Cheers,
Jill

Hi! Tell mom we were separated at birth and that I want an EQ6 for Christmas, too! Ah, well...worth a try! And you've made SEVEN quilts in a little over a year?? Amazing! Hope you're enjoying 'Frisco. I'm south of you, down near LA.

Hey Jill:
Welcome!! I am a newbie as well. Everyone is so helpful here. I am orginally from No Ca. Chico to be exact. I was also in the Air Force. I really enjoyed it. Maybe you should put the guys to work when you are cutting out a quilt. Maybe they will get the bug too!! Anyway Welcome aboard!!

Hi there, I am a newbie too. Thought I was working fast, now finished 1 wall hanging, 1 quilt (all but) and another just waiting to be sewn together, but had to stop as there is a new babe on the way. That has taken 8 months so take my hat off to you. Mainly I do applique, but next time am going to have a try at something a bit more difficult. Elle in Spain
