I've been here less than a month and haven't introduced myself. I'm a recent retiree due to health reasons. While not entirely new to quilting, my experience has been in apparel. I am excited over the prospect of learning more about quilting, though I will never turn out some of the masterpieces I've seen here.
About me? I live in Northern Lower Michigan. Married 42 years, but now divorced. Five wonderful children, an equal number of in law children, twelve grandchildren, five great grandchildren and two dogs. Lots of interests, but what currently occupies my time is my family, my church and my dogs. Quilting is a welcome addition.

Hello from Massachusetts. I myself have sewn for many years, clothes for myself, sisters, alterations for many friends and family and customers (for a brief while), house items etc. Helped with a quilt for a church fair in 1976 for the bicentennial - Made my own first quilt - a log cabin design - in 1982 and have made many quilts since then. You will enjoy this site - answers all your questions. Welcome
