5-pointed star with one snip
Here is a video that shows how to make a 5-pointed star with one snip. Paper is used, but it would be interesting to see if it can be done directly with fabric instead of tracing the paper star onto fabric for an applique on your quilt.

I don't see why it couldn't be used with fabric. Just remember that it will be much smaller and the dimensions will change when it is appliqued onto another piece of fabric. I would definitely use a fusible on it or and do a turned applique for best results.

Last April we were in Philadelphia and happened to visit the Betsy Ross House. Very interesting story as I had never heard her story
