Fabric Warehouse Sale ...What's your fabric shopping plan?
When you go to a fabric sale...do you go with a pattern and a plan or just go and buy up colors/prints you like?
I am going today with a group of friends. The sale is in Archdale, NC. You can go to the web site for details at :

We had a speaker at our guild from a major fabric manufacturer and we were told to expect some major price increases in fabrics due to tariffs. In this Midwest area prices are now about $12 a yard average at our LQS’s. $16 a yard is coming! I am so proud of my “fabric collection”!

I take a list of projects I have in mind (with yardage) and then look for blenders which would work for lots of quilts, and then of course always see something that is a wow fabric that I get 3 yds of "just because"

Great customer service
Your welcome! The staff at the sale were very helpful and polite. I asked about a Pineapple Pack Kit I really wanted and found it was out of stock on the shelf. A worker said she would go to another building to see if she could find it. She came back with the item I asked for. Sew happy!

I usually do some of both; if I'm working on a project and I see something I like, I'll get it. I also replenish my staples and fabrics genres I collect - - - 'blender' fabrics, white & off-white tone-on-tone fabrics, Kaffee Fassette, Black & White, 30's, --
