Found a very good resource (book) for quilting
#1
I found this little book at the LQS this week-end and had to get it for my soon-to-be DIL who has shown an interest in quilting. It's a Christmas present...don't tell. ;)
Details:
Quilting: The Complete Guide
Author: Darlene Zimmerman
Format: Hardcover (Spiral), 255 pages
Publication Date: December 2006
Publisher: Krause Pubns Inc
Dimensions: 8"H x 7"W x 1"D; 1.45 lbs.
ISBN-10: 089689410X
ISBN-13: 9780896894105
List Price: $29.99
URL: http://www.bestwebbuys.com/9780896894105
The pictures are great. The info is straight-forward and uncluttered. I especially liked the section on applique.
This is a good resource to have on your own bookshelf. It's also small enough that you could tuck it into your suitcase or bag to take to class or on a trip.
What do you think are the chances I may end up with one for myself? :D
