sewing triangles to hexagons

Hi there. I'm so glad you came across my tips and hints. I totally forgot that I did this. In December, I'll be making another I spy quilt as a special project for a new school in our area. I'm so glad I made these notes for myself, because I knew I'd forget!!
PS: Anyone want to do a "Hexagon I Spy Quilt" sew along with me - in December. Seems to be lots of interest, so maybe I'll think it through and do a Sew-Along in the right area on this board. I'll do some research first then get back to you.

This is the I Spy quilt I make! Currently working on one now. Have made several one was a Christmas quilt to our house and a baseball quilt -with fabric from all the clubs (except the Nationals). It's quick and it is fairly easy. I use templates to cut the hexagons and triangles. I fussy cut all the hexagons. My favorite is the 5inch template. But have done smaller.
