I and several others have ordered numerous embroidery/embroidered applique designs from this company on ebay, we have been very happy with them all.
She just posted a free embroidered appliqued free standing tree design that is really cute, for 99cents more you can upgrade to several size trees and embroidered ornaments to hang on them, quite a deal for 99cents and getting to try out one of her designs.

amma,
That little tree is just too cute !!! I am just getting into machine embroidery. Only have 5 colors of thread, but that's ok to practice with.
I liked everything I saw on that site :!: For now, I ordered the snowflakes and of course the little tree. Thanks for sharing the site.
BTW - Do you do alot of embroidery work ?

I am happy to share fun sites (especially if they are economical) with everyone here! I am glad that you have enjoyed them :D
Snowb, I helped my daughters mil set up her commercial 3 head embroidery machine. After that I said, three heads are not better than one  We played a lot with stabilizers and some of the thread that I had been collecting and I really enjoy it. We also experimented with free designs on the net and did not have real good luck with some, they were poorly designed and we got to where we could pretty well tell by looking which would stitch out well and which wouldn't.
I have a Singer embroidery machine that I will get set up and using after Christmas. Applique on the embroidery machines intrigues me, too :D

I am working on a applique snowman right now. This is my real first project on the embroidery machine. It just amazes me how you can just push a button and the machine does all the rest. My goal is to someday do a quilt with some embroidery squares in it. Have any of you done anything like that ? I will more than likely have lots of questions.

Yes, I have bought some embroidery designs that are 4" blocks, and I want to try them as the quilting on a wall hanging. There are so many designs available, I guess I could spend as much on the designs as I do on fabric  I thought about using some of the applique outlines on my grandkids rag quilts instead of making an X through them as the quilting, too. Way too many ideas and just not enough time! :x  :(

I just got an email that my CD was sent out this morning and should have it in 2-3 days. What fast service :!: I can't hardly wait for that little tree. Reminds me of Charlie Brown's only this is way prettier.

In your email, was there an attatchment towards the bottom of the design, if I remember right they used to email it too, so you could use it right away even if you ordered the disc. I love doing business with them! :D

amma,
Yes, the attachment was there, but I don't have a clue how to get things from the computer into my machine. What little I have done so far has been on a CD, so I will just have to be patient and wait a few days. :(
Thanks again for passing the link along. It is already in my favorites.
