"Quick-Pieced" or "No Waste" Flying Geese help
#1
I think I just messed up about 50 flying geese using the method where you cut a square instead of a rectangle. I have a tutorial, but could someone direct me to the Quilter's Cache tutorial? It must be friendlier ...
Hoping I didn't just waste lots of fabric and time! Thanks.

go to ...Quilterscache.com In the drop down section there are 'how to's' it is in there. (Take a 7-1/4 inch square, use four 3-7/8 squares for the corners.) You do two corners at a time....opposite corners. It is clearly demonstrated and you should have no problem.. I use this method for all my 12 inch finished blocks that have geese in them.

I have a ruler made by Lazy Girl Designs. It is NO MATH!
They have the finished size of the geese printed on the line that you need to cut for the squares. http://www.lazygirldesigns.com/produ...ory/Rulers/c48
LOVE IT! Owner of LQS recommended it when I was taking a BOM class.
